Play, Explore & Discover
The Zigbo Wooden Musical Instrument Set introduces children to hands-on sound exploration through a selection of percussion instruments and a wooden trumpet-style instrument. From shaking maracas to tapping a tambourine, each activity offers a different way to explore music during playtime at home.
Explore Different Sounds
Shake the maracas to create a rhythm, tap or shake the tambourine, and use the scraper along the ridged guiro. The castanet-style clapper offers another sound to discover. Children can try the instruments individually and compare what they hear, exploring how different movements produce different sounds.
Create Simple Rhythm Games
Parents can introduce a short beat and invite children to copy it. Start with a slow pattern, pause and take turns responding. Try playing along with familiar songs or exploring simple contrasts such as fast and slow.
These activities give children opportunities to practise listening, coordination and following a sequence while keeping the experience playful.
Make Music Together
Share the instruments during family playtime and create a small music group at home. Each person can choose an instrument, take a turn leading a rhythm or join in with a song. There is room for free exploration as well as parent-led activities.
A Set for Musical Discovery
The instruments combine natural wood tones with colourful accents. With several ways to shake, tap, clap and scrape, the Wooden Musical Instrument Set offers variety for children who enjoy experimenting with sound.
